Refund & Cancellation
Subscription-based service — cancel anytime, no questions asked.
How it works
Tradynx is a monthly subscription. You pay for each month of access to weekly strategy-cards. Since we don't deliver source code, there's nothing to "return" — you simply stop your subscription whenever you want.
- Cancel any time via Customer-Area or by emailing [email protected]
- Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged again after cancellation
- All historical strategy-cards you received remain yours to keep
- No partial refunds for unused days within the current billing period
- No refunds for previous billing periods — even if performance was negative
- Trading performance is not grounds for refund (we make no profit guarantee)
- Account termination by us (for license breach) does not refund any payments
Why no pro-rata?
Because we deliver the full week's strategy-card on Sunday — once delivered, the value is consumed for that billing period. Pro-rata refunds would mean Customers could subscribe, get the Sunday card, then cancel for a partial refund. That breaks the model.
Founder Lifetime (existing)
Founders who purchased the $199 one-time license retain lifetime access. There is no recurring billing for Founders. If you are a Founder and find the service no longer meets your needs, contact [email protected] — we can discuss options case-by-case (but no monetary refund after the 30-day initial founder-window).
How to cancel
Two ways:
- Log into Customer-Area at tradynx.com/area → Settings → Cancel
- Email [email protected] with your account email — we cancel within 24h
Failed payments
If a payment fails, you have a 7-day grace-period to update your payment method. After 7 days of failed retries, your subscription is automatically cancelled and access is paused. You can re-subscribe anytime.
License revocation
When a refund is processed, your license key is revoked and your access to the private GitHub repository is removed. The code you have already cloned locally will continue to run for up to 7 days before the license check fails, after which the system will exit on startup.
EU Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
EU consumers are entitled to a 14-day statutory withdrawal period under Directive 2011/83/EU. However: for digital content and digital services that begin immediate delivery, this right expires once delivery has begun — provided you (a) explicitly consented to immediate delivery and (b) acknowledged that this consent terminates your withdrawal right (§ 356 (5) BGB).
By completing checkout for any Tradynx subscription and pressing "Subscribe", you (a) explicitly request immediate delivery of the digital service (license-key, customer-area access, next Sunday's strategy-card) and (b) acknowledge that this consent waives your 14-day withdrawal right. A reminder of this is presented on the Lemonsqueezy checkout page before payment.
If you wish to withdraw before delivery begins (i.e. before your first subscription cycle activates), email [email protected] with subject line "Withdrawal request" and your order ID. We will process within 14 days under § 357 BGB.
Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, please reply to the refund confirmation email with additional context. We review every borderline case individually. If we still cannot reach agreement, you may pursue the matter through Lemonsqueezy's standard dispute process or your payment provider's chargeback procedure.
